Alright, So I better get to the blogging before I move and really don't know how much time I am going to have. There has been a LOT going on with me with Holty being gone; but just so ya'll know he is doing good out there in Oklahoma (he is suppose to be blogging this but as you probably noticed from his little attempt at a post he more than likely won't). He's already in his second week of class and is a studying fool. He has made quite a few friends out there already (I am always so jealous of that quality of his, I don't make friends too easily as most of you know...) and he has adapted to the Okie way of life. I am kind of eager to get out there and be with him...
But!!! I have been able to stick around here and spend some time with all of my wonderful friends and family. Just this past week has been totally jam packed!!! And with me finally being rid of the Bryner Clinic I have been SO HAPPY!! My last day of work was celebrated by me going to the Joshua Radin concert with my friend Jessy. I have to thank her for coming along with me first and foremost because she had no idea who he was. Jessy you are the BEST!
The concert was a lot of fun!!! We had to stand the whole time and after a long day of work we were a bit worn out; but nonetheless, it was glorious. He had two openers, but one was a total standout...Erin McCarley (Ya'll should check her out!). The only thing that made the concert somewhat odd was when he took off his microphone and came out in the middle of the audience to perform; which was totally cool, but then he just walked out of the place as quickly as he possibly could and that was the end of it...Totally odd, no encore or anything. Like he just wanted to get the heck out of there as fast as possible....but he was a really good performer, it just ended with weird taste.
Another night I went to a Bee's game with my mother and father. It was for my mother's work and we got a free dinner and some good entertainment. It was fun to spend a night with just the two of them. I've always been a total homebody and spent a lot of time with just chilling with my parent's throughout the years and consider them friends just as much as I do parents. I love them so much and are grateful for all the love and support they have given me and now the support they're giving Holt and I with this whole move! The best parents in the world!
I also have been able to spend a few nights with my friends and I brought a camera with me every time I hung out with you all, but I just was lazy and forgot to pull out the fricking thing. But I have been able to go out to dinner A LOT (and thankfully have been still LOSING weight...shocking I know!). Just a few mentions of good times...Crystal and I had another girly day and did breakfast and then got our hair done again! I am SUPER blond this time; I think more so than when Holt and I got married. Kind of shell shocked, I didn't want it to be this blond but Holt will love it! Thank you Crystal for always making me be a little bit better looking...I have to try really hard to keep up with how gorgeous you are. Amanda B and I did a dinner and then I got to hang out with her and Nora today for a bit at good old Target. I just have to thank you Manda for being there for me these passed two years helping to get me through work, and for being such a good friend.
Jessy and I had one more concert to attend...Jack Johnson!!! That was such a fun show, entertainment EVERYWHERE!
It all started with us being "Princess"es at Bajio and being asked how much we LOVE to salsa dance...A sign for a nice night. We were fortunate enough to watch the most attractive man in a black wife beater cutoff that hardly covered him and all of his stretch marks all over his sexy body down six beers before the first opening act came out make out with his girlfriend who we later discovered looked just like a character off of Dark Crystal. We then made some friends, sister Erin and Addy (kind of ironic since those are the Clark ladies names...) who the drunkard hunk in front of us started hitting on as soon as his girlfriend left to get another beer. Thankfully our new friends told him straight up he was disgusting and we were done with the free show of sloppy love. Then the show started and it was GLORIOUS. I've gone to quite a few Jack Johnson concerts over the years and this was by far the best! He has added a lot to his live performance that he never really had before. And his opening acts were great (Rogue Wave and Neil Halstead), who came out and performed with him on a few songs and did an awesome version of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" on an accordion. Jessy and I had a good time...Maybe too good of a time, there was a lot of pot smoking going on at the show (I am sure it was all medicinal...) but I think we got a LITTLE bit looped up. It made for a fun and interesting way to hang out for the next few years. I am so lucky to have Jessy as a friend for over
a decade!!! You're the best Jess!
I KNOW this is the longest blog ever....I was able to hang out with the Terburg family ladies today. I went swimming with Angie, Risa, Sophie and Conrad today; which was so much fun and so needed. I wish I would not had wasted my whole summer away working and would've spent more time at a pool anywhere. Then tonight e had a shower/birthday/going away get together at The Madarin. It was really nice because Heidi was able to make it up from Moab in time for it, which wasn't in the original plan. It was also nice to spend more time with Jo, the soon to be newest member of the Terburg family (her and Mace are getting married Saturday!!!!) and be with everyone else. I love all my sister in laws and my mother in law. It was hard tonight just knowing that I won't be able to get together with them these next few years but it was so nice to have one more time together.
Lastly...I have been able to spend a lot more time with Rebecca, Grace and Ava and I was so happy for that. I love all of my cute little nieces and their fun personalities and I look forward to seeing them grow. And Rebecca knows I always like to chat and chat and chat, so it was great to do that with you again like the good old days. And then my sister Erin...I am sure I have been imposing on your time so much...but I really am so lucky to have been able to spend all these years as your little sister and your best friend. I am going to miss you SO SO much and your two cute kids. You really are my best friend and I am grateful for you ALWAYS being there for me. I'll miss you like crazy...
But I am getting excited...Oddly enough, I think that all of Holt's overly enthusiastic encouragement has finally rubbed off on me. It will be a fun little "adventure" for us and I know we will be better people for it. Thank you all for making time for us in your lives and for being there for us. We are so blessed!

Oh, sad. I would have hung out with you! From your message on my blog, I kind of thought that it sounded like you were leaving already. I know I am a bad friend...I apologize.
Good luck, though. You guys will do great there. And good luck to Holt with his schooling. Exciting changes for both of you, no doubt!
Good luck with everything out there Lindy Lou! I'm SO jealous you got to see Josh Radin!
Lindy Loo!!!!!! I am going to miss you so much, now that you and manda are gone, I have hardly no reason to visit the front desk. The only life up there is Jimmy, but it just ain't the same as girl time. I love and will miss you so!!
Oh Kittaroo!! I am super mad that you didn't post any pictures of me. No I'm not, but Thomas sure is... I'm glad you made it to OK safe and sound and that you ventured out to Target already. Take care.
