Well, my second week has come and gone and the third is about to end also. Nothing much has gone on, obviously. I did have my 26th birthday last Tuesday, the 2nd!!! Crazy to think I am a grown up now; 30 will be here before I know it. Holt had school on my birthday so we celebrated it the day before; but that day we still went out to dinner. I've concluded that birthdays are not fun after you get out of high school, so really it wasn't anything spectacular.
I started work last Thursday and I've been in training all this last week. It is a really good company and everyone seems like a close knit family. It will be fun once I have my routine down and can function on my own. It has been nice to get me out of the house...which I will take pictures of when I get everything set up. I don't know where I am wanting to put everything so it is taking some time.
I haven't gotten to sight see and find new places way too much the last few days. However, with work we went downtown to visit two of our branches out there...I am really excited to visit it more. We also went to an awesome restaurant which was on a lake...the lake is rather large so it somewhat had a feel of being on the ocean side...Pretty cool.
Holt and I hit up a little restaurant by our house...Freddy's Frozen Custard...DELICIOUS!!! That is a place we'll for sure take visitors to. Their custard was divine and so were their french fries (Erin will LOVE them). Isn't it sad that I only really have restaurants to talk about....Anyway, things are going well. I am missing everyone and get homesick from time to time; but that is to be expected.
Oh and also...they last post about the sirens....I guess the town of Edmond does siren testing every Saturday (I really don't think they did the Saturday before...) So things are alright here. It has been raining like crazy and there is talk of Ike kind of effecting us, but I think its just with rain. It's super gloomy all of the time..but WAY humid. Love the sort of south!

Happy late birthday! Gosh, that custard place sounds really yummy. We will really have to try and make it out there to visit you guys and you can treat us to some custard. Besides, little Colston is dying to meet you guys!
Hey guys - looks like you are having fun in Oakie! Jer looked at your blog the other day and said "That picture(meaning the wedding one) is the coolest picture ever." Translation: He thinks Lindy is HOT! Just thought you might like to know. =)
When I come out there to visit you, you better take me to all those yummy places to eat :)
