Mander's Going Away

Our dear friend Amanda left us to grow up and start her life as a teacher. She joined Teach for America which is a program that teaches to underprivileged urban areas. I really admire her and know that she is going to make such a difference in the lives of the little kids she's going to teach.

In late June she left for training in Arizona, and once done with that she was heading up to Tulsa to start teaching Pre-K. So all of us ladies decided to throw a surprise "Going Away" dinner.
We already met up every Thursday for our *American Idol Nite* so we found out one of her favorite restaurants and then worked out a plan from there.It was pretty elaborate...but PERFECT!
She had NO idea.They are all so pretty...{and then there's me}
Megan, Amber, Michelle & Heather were there waiting for us @ Texas Roadhouse. Amanda came up to my place to meet up for American Idol. Christin called us claiming that her car broke down ~and everything just fell into place with all of our "lies" to get Amanda to the restaurant.
I had to take one for the team to get Amanda to actually go inside Texas Roadhouse, claiming that I had to go to the bathroom~REAL BAD.Long story short ManderPuddin was surprised, and as she claimed"No one EVER gets me"So much fun! And was a good last Ladies Night with our Manda!I have such pretty friends!!!
I look like I am going to eat Christin...instead I ate steak.
