July 4th!

I know that it has been a long time, but I thought I would finally write about our 4th of July excitement...Alright it wasn't total excitement, but it was a good weekend. Primarily because I didn't have to work.
Holt and I were going to go kayaking during the day...but we slept in and were lazy; plus it was so bloody hot and we didn't really want to deal with the crowds. So we went on a bike ride instead once it cooled off a little bit. And holy good holy; I freaking suck at riding a bike!!! When I was little I could just hop on that thing and just go for hours and not even get winded. I was a pathetic sight riding around that day. It was fun though! In this picture you can see that my cheeks are still red even four hours after the bike ride...Again I say Pathetic!

We had a BBQ at my parent's (well technically ours too since we are sadly living there). Erin and Kimball and the kids came over and we had a good ol' time pigging out on food (all weight watchers friendly...) and letting off fire works. Holt and Kimball loved that! Thomas got a little freaked out by the loud noise and everything and tried to hide when he wasn't being held. But cute little Addy bug loved it...She was totally transfixed by everything and was laughing and smiling. She is so cute! (a sorry goes out to mom, dad and Erin about the following picture, ya'll probably won't like it but it's the only one I had...)
